Tom Martin is a certified executive coach who is passionate about helping clients win in business and in life. Through coaching, clients engage in a three-step process of discovery, collaboration, and empowerment which facilitates personal growth, professional development, and success in the marketplace.
Prior to receiving his certification in executive coaching with the Academy of Creative Coaching (ACC) and being accepted as a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Tom held numerous senior executive level positions in the automotive industry. Over the course of 20+ years, Tom successfully guided two Metro Atlanta automotive groups through numerous transitions while serving in operations, sales and marketing management roles, as well as serving as franchise executive general manager.
During the span of his career both dealership groups experienced growth in market share, improved profitability, and award winning customer service resulting in the acquisition of additional dealerships and franchises. Tom experienced the majors benefit that coaching had on his life, and realized the value that it could have for other professionals. Tom’s passion to equip others for success, paired with his ICF certification, led him to launch Leveraging Life Now and Tom Martin Coaching.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and also completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Development program. Tom has been quoted by Dr. John Maxwell in his book on leadership, Everyone Communicates – Few Connect, and has had his inspirational work published by Be Cancer Positive and Blog for a Cure, and been featured in the Huffington Post.
Tom serves on the Board of One Thing Ministries which oversees the operation of One Thing for Men and One Thing for Youth. Tom is an active member of North Point Community Church where he serves as a ReNew mentor in their care ministry and co-leads a couples community group with his wife Shari.
In his free time, Tom enjoys sports, reading, and the occasional round of golf. He loves traveling Shari, and cooking for family and friends.
